Dancing - the best thing I've found in my life thus far!!

It could sound a little exaggerating...ah well, that's how I feel...the best thing I've done for myself so far? ...picked up dancing in May 2011...started first with Street Jazz classes, and a month later I thought just one class a week is a little 'too little' so I joined also the K-pop classes...and buoy! It's the right(est) decision I've made for myself so far (lols!!) you have no idea how much I enjoy myself (nevermind I was damn stressed catching up the steps and had so much problem following beat and rythm) I guess the most stressful (yet I was very happy at the same time) moments were for...like 3 months?...and then slowly I started enjoying myself more...well, I still get stressed now especially at the start of every new dance...but I am catching up faster now than I was initially....so the stress period is much shorter now;P....I could not describe in words how enjoyable it is to be throwing out my limbs, swinging my head, moving my body, and especially now learning and appreciating more of the lady-like moves...and best of all to really sweat myself out XD
...life has never been better with Dancing!!!

Dancing and My First Flash Mob : Highlight for 2011

2011 has been a year filled with highs and lows..
(I will not try to recall any of the stressing moments though)
....but as for the happy moments...I must say that one of the best things I've done for myself this year is taking up dancing...it feels like the right-est thing I've done this year...(it didnt come immediately, considering I started looking after Chinese New Year, which was in Feb, and only in May I manage to find a class I considered good for me....
anyway...dancing is now becoming my second life...I can't life without it!! (I am currently learning Street Jazz and K-pop dances)

(my first life? working - not a choice, becoz no work, no food...so you know how it's like) ...but dancing? pure enjoyment!!! (well there were the stressful moments too, like when I could not make my hands and legs to work in sync ;P but the best thing is...practice makes perfect...and buoy I can't tell you in words the satisfaction when I could work those steps out finally...now after half a year, things are so much better compared to the first month when I started....and I am enjoying every moment that I dance, and every new step that I learn....
and, and, and....the best thing?! in just half a year, I got to join a flash mob dance....!!! I was just so overly excited when my dance instructor asked if any of us wud like to join....I mean, I first knew about flashmob in Jan 2011 and I actually had the chance to do something like that in the same year, being just a newbie in dancing?! it's just an amazing opportunity for me...
and I must place here all those photos to remind myself of the good moments I have with the group who joined the flashmob...(it was actually a performance for Bizzy Body - for which Jessica Hsuan Hester endorsed the slimming programme)...these guys and gals are super nice and most of them are very good dancers!!

Can't help liking this album, it is so rich with a variety of elements...and every single song is just as 'rich' and I can't find any boring song!!

Classical music, violin, hip hop music, dance, Toy Story, Wong Fei Hung...could you imagine all these in one album?

and to add to it, it comes with a complimentary dvd of Jon's performance with the HKCO (Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra)

there is still much room for improvement in terms of performing live (as seen from the few clips of his performances with the HKCO, but this young man is already very good...

looking forward to his future work ;-)

Listening to this album and finds it really good, not all songs are commercially inclined but a few have more artistic touch to them
I'm loving all the songs but liking especially: Seawave, Lullaby, 情诗三百首，南北极, Tell Me, Separate Ways, Roswell, 1+1.
Many of the songs have acapella incorporated (if this is the correct way to describe?), heavy or light....which I find really nice~

a dear friend's post on FB which had me thinking (and had me in shock!!)....yes I think she's right, thank God that He sent angels to watch over her!!
although I am not a Christian but I just want to pray for Ju again...as she's prayed for me as well...
(once in a while, especially previous times when things are tough, I do pray in my heart as Christina told me before that I need not necessarily know how to pray the 'correct' or 'proper' way (the way a Christian would say prayer)...but if I pray from my heart, God knows it and will answer my prayer...so yes, I will pray again for my dear friend...please God, if I could ask that your angels remain with Ju, as she's one dear friend who always give her heart out to her friends

Anyway, this....is so artistic...I really like this so much....
I saw the MV 心足 first (refer previous postings) and then came across this - the making of this MV...and can't help to think that this artist (Jonathan Wong) is really artistic...and as I am saying this, it strikes me that actually (and seriously)...how (not) many artist nowadays are that artistic...really...
(What's making this MV artistic? I am not too sure but to me it's the dance...the moves made such good pairing with the song...and the entire 'feeling' of this, is so good.
Note: Listen to it using a headphone, not a speaker - let the music fill up your entire mind for you to feel the song~)

I've been looking for hair dye with no ammonia in Malaysia for so long...and now it's finally available....I bought Loreal Casting Creme Gloss - it is clearly labelled 'No Ammonia' if you are looking at the shelf...I was in fact most interesting in using Loreal's Inoa but unfortunately it is not available for home user, only at saloon...and I've been having my hair dyeing job done at home, so forget Inoa...

The adjustable suture technique - this surgical procedure allows the surgeon to change the eye position in the immediate postoperative period while the patient is fully awake. The operation is done in two stages. In the first stage, the extraocular muscle is secured and placed on a suture in such a way that the muscle location can be changed the following day when the patient is fully awake. The second phase of the procedure entails adjusting the position ofthe muscle so that the eyes are properly aligned. The adjustable suture technique is particularly useful in complicated strabismus cases, such as in the treatment of superior oblique palsies where the eyes can be misaligned vertically, horizontally and even torsionally.
With the adjustable suture technique, there is a much better chance of straightening the eyes with one operation, rather than the multiple surgical procedures often associated with the correction of strabismus in adults.

I can't help googling on this again as my eyes - are diverging so much like they are coming off the eye socket these days...too much of the computer and tv screen...aihs...anyone know of any great doctor for complicated adult strabismus?! It is so sad for me to read that they have great docs (yep, for adult strabismus) in Wilmer Eye Institute, the John Hopkins Hospital in the US....such an impossible choice for me~~

U-mobile Internet coverage disruption in Cheras-Kajang area

wuu...this is so frustrating..i just got u-mobile as my ISP 20th Nov and then barely days after that I think it's 30 nov or so, the connection has gone...and never came back till today....>___<
I made many complaint calls to CS, and still can't help it so yesterday went to Times Square (U mobile service centre) and was told that sections in Cheras was affected as there is this structure or building or something which is blocking signal to the whole area....this is so unlucky...i hope they resolved it fast...else I'd have to stop and get another ISP...but then again, I am not sure if the other ISP signal is affected much or not...as far as I've tried Celcom signal is extremely weak and even though i could connect (only upstairs in my room, not downstairs in the living room)...the connection is slower than a superslow tortoise, no kidding...
and it doesnt help that YES has not reached my street yet...it is available the street across my house though /.___.
my house is in such a pathetic location....and no connection means not much work done...this is just stressing me out~~ going back to office in Cyberjaya on saturdays and sundays....or pay some RM15/20 in a more decent cafe for a few hours to get some work to be done..

I was slow at catching this piece of news....only went to check the details of the news and saw the video clip after reading some related post in the forum...and it all seemed to start as a 'simple' piece of news, but with ended so terribly horrible...started simple...as in this man - probably just terribly stressed...wanting his job back and demanding himself some 'justice'...(just dont understand how stupidly the authority could react? why can't they just say yes to such an agitated man, who would have probably turn not so sane by then? I mean, how many of such incident could easily happen here as well...I am not sure if our authorities are any better in handling such situation than the Filipino counterparts (despite saying this, I truly pray that our 'special' squads here are way, way better...but I dont know, and i dont have all that much confidence honestly...or perhaps I should be praying that we will never have this kind of thing happening ever here - heck, of coz, my bloody mouth)...how much damage could such stupidity do to a country...lives flew....and dont think there'll be HK tourists in Manila in months to come...no thanks for me either...and not only talking about how well could the people handle such situation...but at the same time also looking at the stress level of our society, dont you think the rate of people going not-so-sane (if not totally insane) will probably increase?

my deepest condolences to our Hong Kong counterparts...and last but not least, for a slightly lighter moment...i think the Filipino authority may make do with some TVB dramas...series with the police squad, fei fu dui (tiger squad) etc...may impart to them just a little more sense if not a lot....

I took out my braces last Saturday...and well, guess what, I am not too happy about it...you may think that I should be celebrating? I am not overlydemanding though (I think)...my 4 front upper teeth...they are not exactly straight from the side view...in any case I would want them to slant in a little...but alas, they are still slightly slanting out...I duno...I think I've got a very good doc...(the best in Ipoh)...but still I am not getting exactly what I wanted...(Sammi Cheng's perfect teeth!!) and I am not sure if it's my stupid gum or teeth which is not cooperating....well...whatever it is...perhaps I could go for another try in a few years time (hmm, my gums would have resided so much more by then)...you may think I'm crazy (not another round of two years suffering...ah well, I'm too months short of two years wearing the braces)...but hey, I dont really mind it...still aiming for the perfect set of pearls...aihhhs, can't help being a bit disappointed...haihz....

硕士毕业又怎么样？
工作得来的薪水
还是不够每个月的费用/还债所有需要的
我这阵子更加是提醒自己
需要用钱的事物也尽量不去做/不要买
结果？最好尽量待在家
那你说人生有什么乐趣？
跟朋友出去吃饭，喝东西？
还是尽量不去了。。。什么都是钱
也不好意思朋友们因为我被逼作比较经济的选择
而且来着的九，十月有4个婚礼不能不去的
两个是表哥表弟的婚礼另外两个是非常好的姐妹
这个周末更是要跟姐妹们去别的州度过Hen's Night
肯定大出血，不过其实自己已经是严重贫血
那里还有血呢？要去哪里讨血呢？
真的是。。。除了‘死火’还是‘死火’咯~
免不了心理会想：我会不会好快就升呢？
升什么？不就是我所欠的债

I went to the 7th Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2010 yesterday with my senior manager and another colleague.
I had so much fun~ but my colleague mentioned that another showcase (MAHA I think it's called) is even better than this (wow, I can't wait;P)
A lot of food to taste...and buoy so much food which brands I've not known existed in the Malaysian market before...the fact that I am Chinese/non Muslim Halal or non Halal food both appeals to me, it's really interesting to see some of these food...I am less aware that Malaysian make very good chocolates too..comparable to Belgian chocolates, pralines, truffles...but alas, these are not sold in local market...but still possible to buy direct from the factory if you really want....MIHAS last till this sunday, opens 10am - 7pm at MATRADE, Jalan Khidmat Usaha, Off Jalan Duta. People in the food industry should not let go of this chance...it's really an interesting showcase with food related manufacturers and businesses from all over the world apart from our very own Malaysian booths.

Started my new job in Cyberjaya last Monday...
haha, i quite like the office...and the nice environment (at least that's what I think for now)
..I was the first to arrive most of the days last week, and in the peaceful morning, I could hear birds chirping, and feel the peacefulness of the morning...it's a good working environment...and yes, Cyberjaya is a nice place...(perhaps it's becoz there are not yet so many humans for now...when humans thronged in...they start to destroy the peacefulness of the place)...
I hope it will be a new start...a new beginning for me...;-)

It will be my first time attending an orchestra...and am really excited about the show...but not so excited for the fact that I am going with my boss...aiyak...off work at 5pm...speed down to KL in boss' car..140kmph? (my heart will jump out)...the ticket (it's RM250 ticket btw so should be nice seating) says one has to be seated latest by 8.15pm? could we reach before 8? think about traffic jam in Shah Alam on a Friday evening? mmm? and the dress code states evening dress...would i have time to fix myself from my usual 'after-work-living corpse' look into an evening classical musical mood kind of look...aih...23rd night...and anyway, overpassing that, i just can't wait till 24th to meet and catch our 'young master' in action...ahehehe...but thinking abt 23rd...if i think further i might have just taken leave and maybe i can catch y.master in the morning and only meet my boss at night? so i can escape his dangerous driving and not risk my life??...aih, aih, aih, can't turn back things now...

so I finally started watching Burning Flame III and am really liking the fire scenes and other rescue scenes...seem like there have been much improvement...TVB is just good with such scene..almost next to real...and characters wise...for now, it's Wong Hei 钟Sir for sure...the other characters dont seem to interest me much...anyway i am just at episode 7...waiting for more excited scenes to unfold...and before i end i must say that Wong Hei is just so 型...hahaha...

Am so attracted with 超级巨声 shown which started showing on Astro WLT some 2 weeks ago...
and especially interesting was tonight's episode whereby majority of the participants are between 15-20...but most of them sung well...and I especially like number 93 何雁詩 who sang On My Own...not mentioning her sweet looks, her voice proves it all with the rendition...someone her age to sing with that quality..i hope she goes far...

本来这个礼拜应该是挺不错的
不过昨晚在KL回怡保的途中
忽然间。。。（也许也不是太忽然。。。）
爸跟我说了一些我不懂得要怎么反应的话。。。一些我不原意听到的东西。。。

听了我不懂如何反应。。我也没什么反应
自己都呆了整晚
今天也不好得那里去
好担心。。。他最近的情况真的不好。。。

近排自己对于上天的存在好似真的不再有怀疑了
觉得所有的事情都好似是由上天安排好了那样
不过当然同时自己也一定要努力做好自己本分
所谓'God helps those who help themselves'
自己认为...这样的想法/信念也真的让自己在处理很多事情的时候让自己比较淡定
（这也许也显示自己是个多么的没自信的人?；P)

TVB Vanishing Glacier 冰天动地

I watched this some months ago and just kept forgeting to pen it down in my blog then despite reminding myself again and again...;P
I've always love TVB production of documentary shows...and especially Stephen Chan' shows...I just admire his shows..(as well as his personality - he gives the impression that he's just so well knowledged...and quite an environmentalist...and he's a vegetarian - which in anycase i am guessing that it's for environmental reason;PP..ok, so I can go on and on...but this is Mr Chan is really good at his work...)
　
Vanishing Glacier...I was watching it with my father then...and from his comments..i guess it's more for those who are interested in the environment...else you might get yourself going bored...but i really enjoyed every single bit of it...from the song/music at the beginning to each of the guests' dialogues to...of coz..all the 'marvellous' scenes...I especially love the episode with Northern Lights / Aurora - 北极光...it's just something splendid the universe has...i wonder if i will ever have the chance to watch it with my own eyes...
the show is really good in delivering green messages to the normal laymen...I simply like the way they produce it...that you get important messages delivered watching a leisure show...elegant;-)...and faults, i wont be able to detect...i am very forgiving in this sense..hehe...all in all...a must watch good show...at least you're getting a sight of the glaciers...at the speed they are vanishing now...i wonder if they're still there in a few years time...the reality can make you shiver if you really get the meaning of this show....

Haven't been blogging for so long (the feeling)..
today as usual i will be immersed in work
been so torturous the past 3 weeks...most intense 2 weeks ago...i think it will get worse coming weeks...*can't wait for June to come!!!!*
the crazy indian woman is just biting onto me, not wanting to release...she just wants me dead...for watever reasons...and now she's starting to bite those trying to help me out...those affiliated to me...it's just getting out of control...doesn't help that with current financial crisis, some people chose to keep quiet than to voice out...to keep their rice bowls...can't blame them...it's just that i am so unlucky...bad luck's crawling in...really not 搞搞震...must go ‘sip'太岁and打小人...as i am really diving into the crocodile's mouth after crawling out of the tiger's mouth last year...+_+

anyway the main thing today apart from work...
has to be...
turn off the lights from 8.30 - 9.30...
well i'll still be turning on my computer for sure...and the tv will be on for sure...well, but still trying to join in the effort...;PPPP

and well, enjoyed the interview so much...gave me the urge to rush to the store immediately to get the live concert DVD seriously...*ahem, money is tight on me though*...but I'd probably really pop in the store tomorrow or the day after *at least to 'see see';PPPP*...forget all the other albums that I've wanted to check out-save it all for 歌神, after all I've not been buying any of his album for so so so long...but loving his songs as much as ever...those familiar tunes, warm up my heart every time i hear any one of them;-))))) ahahahaha...such is the power of an all time idol...;-)))

少爷来出席2009 年2月21号的ASTRO华丽台电视剧大奖颁奖典礼
那也代表大马峰蜜们又再次出发咯~
这次大家都好开心~
本人也当然high翻天啦;PP
整个颁奖典礼里，FF@大马总算没有失礼到少爷和FF
这次是FF@大马正式/首次在ASTRO颁奖典礼为少爷打气
我们感觉到少爷这次好开心
（不知道是不是因为有FF的正式支持这次少爷好像特别的好心情;P ）
我们在场的Banner (全场最大-超棒！），手牌，灯牌，会服，口哨。。。全都有齐
（只是觉得举牌和叫口号可以多多的进步;PP ）
我们占了上面计下来第三排，中间的整排坐位
位置其实真的好漂亮（我们当初还以为被人骗了，呵呵;PP）
因为大部分会员都穿了FF好‘明亮’的会服 - 而我们的位子又刚好在中间
简直为少爷抢尽‘峰’头，威到尽;PPP
全场没办法不留意到我们FF （加上还有那些峰牌！！）
夸张点说句：瞎的也能看见；PPP
颁奖典礼完毕后 TVB十多位艺人都去庆功宴
大部分honey们也离开了
剩下的honey们想为少爷来个小型简单的庆祝会
（我们买了6樽Ribena – 500ml – 就当代替香槟，颜色有像假红酒那样;PPPP
- 因为上云顶怕气压问题我们没带香槟上去）
我们得到了同意可以做个小庆祝就到了酒店lobby 等候少爷
可惜庆功宴完毕以后当一众艺人出来的时候粉
丝们太热情了令场面有点混乱
（也许还抱着颁奖典礼的高涨情绪;PPP）
那么我们和少爷的小庆祝会为有留在明天去机场送机时了
。。。那晚我们5个峰蜜聊天聊到只睡了2个小时都不到;PPP
5点钟 5个蒙查查的honey 下山往机场去;PPP
到了机场等了等
时间都差不多了少爷和其他当红艺人都还没出现
只有乐小姐，关菊英，陈好到了
陈好还跟他的粉丝们聊了一段时间
我们想- 难道少爷和其他的都进了关了吗？
（我们的小庆功不就没着落？）
之后听到一连串的尖叫声
有人喊：到了！到了！
5个蒙查查的honey：谁到了？少爷吗？不知道耶!
然后听到有其他人说少爷好像到了…看见部分人更往右跑
我们就向相反方向走;PPP
。。。我看见胡杏儿，杨思琦，吴卓曦, 等他们都忙着和各自的粉丝们交流，签名什么的
少爷呢？（我们其中之一还大声地说：阿峰在那里呀？
然后就刚好走到少爷面前;PPP 他一身黑色打扮戴着黑眼镜-蒙查查得我们都差点留意不到他
少爷也好像跟我们差不多都还在半睡半醒的情况;PPP
之后我们之中的‘大家姐’和‘猫’叫了少爷几声（少爷没反应）
另一个honey看见少爷没反应也说：峰，’大家姐’ 叫你呀~（少爷还是没反应 – 真的好像蒙查查那样，他四围也被人包围了人人都想跟他说话情况真的好吵
两个保镖又在挡住这个挡住那个
我猜少爷应该是炒到什么都听不清楚
‘猫’ 给了一块录给他的CD 和一樽Ribena
很快的少爷就要了电梯要下去禁区了
老大和我到电梯旁边的位子站
下电梯前少爷看见老大站在那里就停了一下
老大问（大概）：昨晚我们厉害不厉害？;PP
少爷（大概）：我一看上去就看见到你们啦(FF@大马) 你们看到我坐哪里吗？。。。
同时大家姐，‘小云’和 ‘猫’就过去了另一边
少爷下电梯了我和老大也过去大家姐他们那边
少爷在楼下和Bosco黄宗泽一起
少爷手上拿着护照和他的handcarry bag
要准备passport check
那时我们在楼上叫了少爷一声 - 他没反应-听不到啦这么吵
同时还有好多人从上面在喊着少爷名字
我突然想到就大声地对着下面的少爷说：阿峰~那樽饮料不能带进去的你现在喝一喝吧 – 我们拿个意头吧
5个蒙查查honey　就好自然地也好快地每人打开自己手上的那樽饮料然后拿住向着少爷
少爷看了我们一下，就立刻搜他的手提包包（挺大个的）
找呀找- 旁边的bosco好像一位少爷不见了什么重要的东西
少爷一个手找不到就把手上的护照用口‘咬’着
再用两只手找~有点手忙脚乱似的
。。。才找到那樽饮料~ 赶快地开了拿着对这我们。。。
我们一起说cheers~恭喜~
我自己当时没留意到四周的反应
不过然后才知道四周的人都看着我们（在楼上）和少爷（在楼下）‘干杯’~
（这下才觉得有点不好意思 – 不过感觉好好玩;PPP）

Faith ~ The Amazing Dog

"A most amazing dog by the name of "Faith".....

This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002. He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which need to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him.
His first owner also did not think that he can survive. Therefore, he was thinking of "putting him to sleep". By this time, his present owner Stringfellow met him and wanted to take care of him. She is determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. Therefore she named him "Faith".

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfing board to let him feel the movements. Later she used peanut buuter on a spoon as a lure and reward for him to stand up and jump around. Even the other dog at home also helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he now can walk like a human being.

Faith loves to walk around now. No matter where he goes, he just attracts all the people around him. He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared on various newspapers and TV shows. There is even one book entitled "With a little faith" being published about him. He was even considered to appear in one of Harry Potter movies.

His present owner Jude Stringfellew has given up her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to preach that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul".

After some bits of researching...my conclusion (to cut all my crapz, no one wants to know;P)

plastic code 1,2,4,5 (these are ok for repeated usage) class 1 & 2 are the better ones compared to class 4 & 5

plastic code 3,6,7...if you have been re-using any of these, you'd better throw them into the bin now...

some brief info about the recycling codes

Class 1: Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET, PETE) e.g. Plastic soft drink, water, sports drink, beer, ketchup and salad dressing bottles. Peanut butter, pickle, jelly and jam jars. Ovenable film and ovenable prepared food trays.

Class 2: High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) e.g. Milk, water, juice bottles; yogurt and margarine tubs; cereal box liners; grocery, trash and retail bags

Class 3: Vinyl (Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC) e.g. Clear food packaging

Class 4: Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) e.g. squeezable bottles, e.g. honey, mustard.

Class 5: Polypropylene (PP) e.g. Plastic containers, water tumblers/bottles, ketchup bottles, yogurt containers and margarine tubs, medicine bottles.

Class 6: Polystyrene (PS) e.g. food service applications, cups, plates, cutlery

Class 7: Other - e.g. water bottles, juice and ketchup bottles.

The major risk involved is generally consumption of carcinogenic plastic residues (which could accumulate in one's body over time). Plastic residues could leach from plastic ware due to repeated usage, regardless if you microwave it or not...for example merely shaking mineral bottle containing water could cause the plastic residue to be leached from the plastic bottle into your drinking water, also the fact that we do not know how well the bottles are handles before we buy them...for example if they are exposed to sunlight, chemical reactions could take place and plastic residues leach into the drinking water

my current ISO consultant also mentioned that mineral plastic bottles has been banned in Europe...

if anyone wants to be totally safe from risks of consuming plastic residues, the better option is to replace plastic with stainless steel-aluminum ware or glassware - well, the latter is not so recommended for water bottle i guess, especially for a clumsy person like me;PP)

Plastic Scare!! My Tupperware...?!

I bought this Tupperware water tumbler like 10 days ago...and I actually chose one of the cheapest around .. this one costed RM35 (rest ranging around RM60 and above)...and to think that I didn't want to buy it in the first place...coz when I asked the lady what type of plastic it is, she just said very ignorantly that she doesnt know...and my father who knew this brand (I didnt know it that well before today +_+) said that that shop has been around for decades...and it was all the way to Ipoh, plus I need a bottle immediately...so he urged me to just get one ...ok, then just get one...
and then now this plastic scare thingy is around...and I dont even see the code which is not shown in Tupperware product...better do some googling for info...=_="

呵呵~
虽然马来西亚全年都是夏天
不过华人还是一定会为过冬做节
我非常喜欢吃有餡的汤丸
记得以前小时候妈妈都是做些没餡的汤丸
只是面粉我觉得好难吃所以都不吃;PPP
做了几次之后妈妈就没有再做了
现在方便的是supermarket有得卖
虽然不是亲手做不过也没关系啦
(因为很好吃呢;P 妈妈也开心哦;PP)

虽然怡保离吉隆坡不算远（用高速公路需要2.5小时）

有妈妈的家常便菜...汤水...糖水...凉水...

自己心里每次都是喊着‘回家~真好！！'

This book is really a very good read I must say, highly recommended...I was stuck for a while, leaving aside my work and the TV that I was glued onto;PPP

However, you need some patience if you are reading page by page from the start...as I was kind of in a 'rushing' mood...I speed through the pages, and as it is divided into sections with clear titles...I dived into those titles and sections of paragraphs that interest me most (but the whole book is essentially linked, so must read the whole book if you have the time - some 250 pages)

basically it is telling that we are now moving from the Information Age into the Conceptual Age (this will be the 21st century)...for a 'recap' if you've forgotten your history and sciences for a while...mankind / civilization has moved from Agricultural Age to Industrial Age to Information Age and now we are moving into a whole new age altogether...it is backed up by many..what I'll call... 'supporting evidence'...and indeed when I'm reading I find myself agreeing with so most of the 'arguement' with the reality in today's world...!!!!

and if you're still wondering what I'm saying...*am I not an idiot to be so bad at describing?;PPP hehe, I admit I am, really;PP*...it is basically saying that humans, to survive well in time to come...need to be equiped with not only intelligence ...nope, not good enuf if we are good in sciences, maths and calculations, physics, computer and programming knowlege etc...but we need to have the artistic side of things as well...so art is really coming up...things must not only be good and functional but they must be beautiful, artistic as well...and so it means that we as humans, the creators of things and services have to live up to that...so well...as the author suggests... go get your Mozart's or Tchaikowsky piece of music...or go admire (try to at least:PPPP) Picasso's or Van Gogh's painting...try look for negative spaces at objects that you see everyday, make jokes, be humourous...to exercise and use more of your right brain...heck I better do these myself tooo;PPPP....and hey, if you are a left handed person...congrats...you're one level higher;PPPP hehehe...*and how frustrating when mum said that she 'corrected' me when I was young as I started writing with my left hand...sigh, she stopped me from exercising my right brain!!!..at least more..!!*

...sigh, no...my work comes first...%$@#

I wonder what will happen to our dear country, say in the next 20 years, with our current political scene...?
Ever since Dr. M stepped down it seemed that things have gone a bit shaky...and the last two years have seen various events taking place...not so good ones...to be 'fair' there are also one or two good ones...like how people say we are lucky that we were not hit as badly as other countries with the current economy turmoil..(but perhaps this has less to do with the current gov actions/decisions? it's 'something laid down' last time?)
anyway sometimes it really makes one think...(i think too much at times;PP)...would I want to continue living in Msia if I ever have the chance to live elsewhere? (considering the gov and political factor, not so much of the others...i know our country is a nice place to live in in many other aspects)...do I want my next generation to undergo the country's educational system? (my heart is already screaming a thousand, a billion NO!!)
...when you see our politicians speak and argue in the 'dewan'...sometimes its like kids arguing...and they make suggestions or ideas such as:
1...changing name of Jalan Alor to Jalan Kejora...?!
2...no more women on ads...?!
3...signage boards should or should not bear this language / that language...?!
4...yoga not allowed for...?!

...and then the locking up people who blogs openly on certain issues...?!
and a whole list of I can't remember what...really feel like 吃饱没事做...when there are a whole lot of serious problems waiting to be solved...and then all they do is argue and argue, with no solid conclusions but confusions
...that sometimes a layman on the road could be asking 'why so stupid ar?'
...I wonder what the future holds for us and our next generation?....better prepare ourselves...but don't get the wrong idea...I love my country...and hence voicing out my worries...

Bruce Lee: The Legend lives on...

My days in Ipoh, without Astro, the nights are spent watching local channels shows...and as I work on my computer, I'll catch one or two glimpses of whatever that is showing on TV...and prime time, apart from news...what other chinese show if you dont watch the Legend of Bruce Lee?;PPP
when it started showing it was quite slow I thought...and I didn't quite like the dubbing effect...anyway now it seems more interesting already...and in fact if the story really is trying to emulate the real facts...then I must say that I am starting to admire Bruce Lee...hehehe, not so much of his fighting skills (that is needless to say superb)...but his attitude (though the character depicted him as being a bit arrogant sometimes)...his enthusiasm to learn new wushu techniques made him a very open person such that he doesn't mind hardship as long as he gets to learn new techniques from his opponents...and his humble attitude in sharing all that he knows about wushu...how i love that (I hate 'kiasu-ism' if anything)....and his wisdom of applying what he studied in philosophy into wushu...*buoy the word philosophy alone already sounded so abstract, he must be really smart to have studied that*...hehehe, in short...no wonder people out there regardless of age and race and religion etc...admires Bruce Lee!!! the fact that he's so good in martial art goes not only to talents (say this is 10% but attitude, guess this is the other 90% of his success factor)...!!!

Sis just bought this book the other week as she happened to bump into a good bargain
...i've just read a few pages and am quite convinced from the sypnosis that it'll be a very good read...
and coincidently I happen to read in the newspaper yesterday - entertainment section, that there'll be a movie based on Marley and I, premiering in Malaysian cinema in January 2009...hehe, definitely looking forward to that :-)))

cousin sis' operation was a success...and since she's young, she's still advised to undergo chemotherapy to reduce chances of relapse in the future...
she'll probably be taking her first chemo session when it's nearing chinese new year 2009...and already aunty, cousin brother and cousin sister herself have been reading about the suffering and hardship of chemo...aunty said she cries reading those...sigh, what can we say, and already now her appetite is very bad after the surgery...she's only 46kg (she's previously very plump..in fact obese)...aunty said when she saw the scale, she said that she's never been this thin before (but not at all in a happy note of coz)...but aunty tried to put it lightly by cracking a joke since cousin sister has always wanted to thin down...

well, hopefully cousin sis...being 21 - young, a big advantage in battling cancer...that she'll be able to take the effect of the chemo sessions she'll be undergoing soon...may God bless her....

after hitting 25 it seems that the aging business is really setting in..

as well after 25 it seems that the effect of PMS becomes more apparent...the monthly mood swings and 'unexplainable' moodiness can be really disturbing sometimes...well not exactly unexplainable but just that you know that it's the hormone that makes you worry and anxious, without much of other 'valid' reasons...but better this than anything else...
and the moment after 'aunt' left for the month...the relieve is obvious too...

being female...what could i say...

but i guess apparently being male there's 'something similar' too? since male experience something similar to female post menopause too...

but well apart from that things been fine i guess...work's manageable now...and braces treatment's infact nothing painful that i thought it would be...it's just some slight discomfort, and barely into my second week wearing it now...still swallowing soft food most of the time...now i know the 'can't wait to take the braces off' feeling (i dont look too bad with it do i?;PP and it's also a worry sometimes forgetting to check in the mirror after eating...if something is stuck in between the brackets;PPP)...but heck i would want time to stop ticking too if possible...will be hitting 27 is a few months' time...not welcoming that...arghhh~~~
