Indepedance Day: Merdeka! (?)

did nothing much these two days...met Christina yesterday (2 years plus since we last met)...and watched lots of TV shows...Mr HK 2008, Ms HK 2008, TVB Children Songs Award 2007...and later JSG Award 2007...wahaha, am loving Astro really....but well, I'm going back to Ipoh on Monday afternoon, so sobz...sad to leave Wah Lai Toi behind;PPP

but apart from that I've actually got quite a work load to complete before Tuesday...just my lazy self is super reluctant to start any...probably will work through the night tonite...after TV session..wahahaha...
..and the best thing about coming home, apart from TV and Internet, it has to be mum's food...these few days I've been eating in a more normal mode than during working days...when my appetite drops to almost '0' /. .\

and before I go off today, I'd just like to promote a bit...

and Happy Independance Day to all Malaysians...from a Malaysian with doubts how-merdeka-her-mind-is?

My favourite passion fruit and... 'What-fruit-is this'?!

My father has been involved with theselling of so-called organic fertilizer: liquid ones and composts (in actual there is still a certain percentage of chemicals in them we believe) for quite some time...
and since he visit farms, he gets supply of fruits and veggie from some of the farmers...mostly fruits...

...and this benefits me as I love fruits:PPP...

lately it's the season of passion fruits (one of my favs)...previously there was no planting of passion fruit in Malaysia...guessed it came into the picture only in the recent one-two years if I am not mistaken...

and here's the kind of passion fruit you get in malaysia...looks very different in outer appearance from those overseas... (the shell/skin I mean) particularly Australia and Europe...

However these two here are not ripen yet...therefore not ready to be consumed yet...when they are ready, the skin/shell will shrink and wrinkle (just like those overseas, for those who've seen them, except that ours here have nicer colours, hahaha)...and of course, they taste marvellous once ripen :-)

..and we all know fruits are good for our health...

here are something I found online for passion fruits...

"They are a rich source of vitamin C and a good source of vitamin A, iron, and potassium. The seeds are an excellent source of fiber. Passion fruit have somniferous properties, and when taken before going to bed they are effective in relaxation and a restful sleep during the night. and the following is a kind of fruit I've not seen in my 26 years of life as a human...no idea what it's called (if anyone could enlighten me, please;PP) and where did I find this fruit, then? I bought it in Pusing ...I can't recall what they call it in Hakka / Hokkien...but my grandmother and father call this '阿答子' (just the sound in Cantonese, I dont know the actual words;PP)

...once open they look like mangosteens on the inside...but they taste sour-sweet (very mild), the flesh is very very thin so people who are looking for supple flesh might not like them so much, but if you like some sweet-sourness and fresh taste...this is really interesting I must say...

and apparently the older generations used to eat them like how we eat oranges or apples daily...

Living without frequent internet dose

well...as my fellow sohpohs know...I am now living in Ipoh...
well actually I love Ipoh...every sense of it...nice town, nice caves, nice mountains...nice traffic...nice...oh sorry it should be great food!!!!
but the only thing is that the place I am staying in...is well, a tat bit too new...no internet coverage yet...no 3G...
so well, no home internet access...and office internet access doesn't help much, as I am way too occupied to be able to surf leisurely...also for which I shouldn't be doing anyway (will be so improfessional doing so, right?;PPP)
so yea, indeed the only thing is that my daily dose of internet access (for leisure) is not available...well, dont tell me about cyber cafes...(sux coz mostly the computers are meant for computer gaming, if you surf net and try to open more than two browsers you'll get frozen screen so often that you just want to scream *rhymes, hehe*...ah well, shouldn't complain since the rate is damn cheap anyway...
so yeah, am without Vitamin Ixxx ...and well, surprisingly still surviving well...
but shall look for some solutions real soon...dont want to drain myself overly...*yeah indeed I just feel like shouting: I want back my daily internet (home) access!!!*

p/s: back in KL home now therefore could blog a bit...will be back in Ipoh tomorrow and hopefully back here again Saturday

LG LCD TV

sis bought this LG LCD TV more than a week ago...
and this therefore marked the end of the bulky TV from our home...well, or rather that TV then followed me and father to our place in Ipoh...*not bad, I dont need to fork out my own money for a TV*

and best thing was it came with a DVD player...(ahem, meaning the existing DVD player also went to Ipoh with me - another sum saved;PP wahaha..terrible me...)

but as I went off to Ipoh right after this new TV came, I still havent really got used to the elongated screen...everything seemed to be fatter horizontally...am so not used to it...i just commented today, something like "why are those female dancers so fat?!" and only then remembering the effect of such screen *faintz;PPPP*

well, perhaps it will take me some time before I see the fatter version as normal;PPP

but apart from that, the TV looks cool...very elegant

...way better than the bulky one I must say...;P

Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony 08.08.08

only managed to catch the first 15 mins and the last part of the Beijing 2008 Olympics opening ceremony...
(sigh, rushing back to KL from Ipoh~ what a coincident date and time)
but anyway that's enough for me to say...elegant~!!
watching that really made me proud to be a chinese descendant...
shall catch the other parts later hopefully

tough chilli to handle

I have a tough chilli to handle (just can't figure out why i have so much 'fate/destiny' with blackies these days...and now it's a woman *N times worse*)
well, luckily till now i am still calm
guess i just need to fight on
and nah, i am not giving up so easily this time
not till i get all those damn systems up and running!!

摆乌龙！！

新工作。。今天只是第三天
不过我已经觉得我的superior(QA Manager)超不喜欢我了=.="
因为我一直摆乌龙~~~
同时她也是好挑剔那种人所以让我好紧张
撞板了我连对不起也一直忘记说
加上今天大老板（日本人）以为她给我压力
所以跟她说了一声
这个我想对我来说是伤害多过帮助=.="
天呀~
我也不知自己仲要摆几耐乌龙才可以正常的‘运作’

Ipoh~ Ipoh

Arrived in Ipoh on the 31st July
...so far so good...with the food and place
however the biggest concern is that there's no internet coverage in the area where i stay (the place's too new)
it's so inconvenient not being able to access the net...+.+"
what's more when it's part of your routine...
so now here i am in the internet cafe..(it's RM1 per hour here in ipoh)
but it's hell looking for internet cafe...(very rare now since home service's widely available)
